​South Norwalk, affectionately known as "SoNo," is a historic neighborhood located in the city of Norwalk, Connecticut. It has a rich history that dates back to the early days of European colonization, and today it is a thriving hub of art, culture, and entertainment.

The area now known as South Norwalk was originally inhabited by the Norwalk Indians, a Native American tribe that lived in the area for thousands of years. The first Europeans arrived in the area in the early 1600s, and the town of Norwalk was officially founded in 1651.
